This pudgy kid’s got a little speed on his feet! Well, in comparison to my normal pace, I do
5.08 miles in 44:56, which equates to an 8:50min/mi pace. Not bad, not bad. I’m just happy I can run faster than 6mph again without dying.
I’ve still got a long ways to go though. I [...]
Can’t seem to get my MotionBased RSS plugin working…I believe it’s because my hosting account has PHP4.3, not 5. Will have to see about getting that upgraded.
If not, I’ll just have to write my own plugin to get the job done in PHP 4
Edit: Nevermind, I got it working Of course I [...]

I consider myself a fairly decent programmer with PHP/MySQL. IF you need something written, or an existing system debugged or added onto, I’m your man.
However, I absolutely suck at CSS. For some reason I can never, ever, ever get things to look the same in IE6, IE7, and Firefox. That’s why I love pure code [...]

Not really. It was actually a crappy movie. 17:54 800m this morning. Only took one break, after 400m instead of every 200m. Finished under 18 minutes! I’m fairly certain I would have been under 18:30 if I counted my break in between, since I was really trying not to stop too long.
And I forgot how [...]
It seems at least a few people have found my MotionBased Trackpoint Generator program useful I’ve had 65 hits in the past 2 days, probably all from people reading my post in the MotionBased forums. Yeah yeah, 65 isn’t amazing, but I’m just happy I’m not the only one using it! It’s good to [...]

Holy hell, 2 days in a row in the pool. Not bad. Another 1/2 mile swim, broken into 800m sets. 18:26 swimming time, which doesn’t include my roughly 30-second breaks in between laps. I guess I should count those, huh?

Well I wasn’t aiming for a PR, but I felt so good, I just decided to kick it up a notch. Ran the pioneer loop in 37:01, which I believe is a 10-second PR. I don’t remember the last time I ran it that fast, so I’d have to say that counts as one [...]

First time in a pool in several months, probably since August when I was training for the Treasure Lake Triathlon. 1/2mile (800m) in 18:34, not counting my 30-second or so stops after each 200m
My goal is to swim 3-4 days a week to get in shape for triathlon season. Alyssa also wants me [...]
Well it was a long weekend, but I finally finished my manual trackpoint generator. I’ve been wanting to import my indoor workouts into MotionBased for a while, but they still don’t have a tool to do so. So, I wrote one!
It’s a little buggy, but hell it’s a good start, and better than nothing, [...]

Alright! I finally decided to kick it up a notch and start running more than 3-4 miles at a clip. Decided to do a 10-miler today, which I finished just over 100 minutes. Not bad for still being 195lbs
PS–I love MotionBased, but I’m kinda perturbed that I STILL can’t enter manual workouts into [...]
